ATTENTION! We urge you to download the game, as the VFX are missing in the WebGL version. The WebGL version also has bugs that we could not manage to fix in time. Otherwise it works fine in the browser. Please use full screen mode!

In this game, you are in charge of protecting a species of mysterious blobs from their evil counterpart. Use six different magic mechanisms to affect the blobs in this ancient ruin. Use one dice to select the area and a second one to select your action. Once you used all your dice, you get to re-roll up to 5 times. At the end, you want to have more good blobs than evil ones!

Here's an overview of all the possible actions:
1. Duplicate all blobs
2. Drop bait
3. Blobs of opposing colors attack each other
4. Push all blobs from this area
5. The less present species in this area switches color
6. The more present species in this area switches color

This game was made in 48 hours as a part of the Game Maker’s Toolkit Game Jam 2022. All the art as well as all the code was made and implemented during the Jam by two people. At the end, time got a bit short, but we hope you'll still have fun! Please leave your feedback in the comments!

Roll of a Dice

This years theme was a though one for sure, most of our initial ideas were quite generic dice games. When we settled on the idea of using the random results of a roll to control the game in different ways - by selecting the area / tile as well as selecting the action - we found that it makes an interesting mechanic. We love that you have to work with what you are given (the 4 rolled dice) but that you still have a big range of possible actions you can make.

About Us

As we are siblings, we have closely worked together on this project.

Hi! I’m Maria, I’m a 22-year-old and I have just finished my Game Design study program. I have worked with Unity for about four years now and am happy to show what I have learned in this Game Jam. I wrote the game’s code, implemented to Assets & the UI and made the VFX/Shaders/Materials for the game. Everything I did in the project was created during the jam.

Hello, Daniel here. I am 20 years old and currently working as a web designer. My job was to create the art for the game - this includes the initial concepts, 3D models, textures, UI, artwork, sound effects as well as music. On the last day of the jam, I also focused on the presentation of the game online. The game assets were created in blender, the music was made in GarageBand. We have used sound effects from online sources that require no crediting.

Wow that was really polished! Surprising amount of depth for a 2 dice turn. Liked the board and the visuals too. Great work!
